The Second Hand Project is a campaign designed to inspire young women in Aotearoa to embrace op-shopping as a lifestyle, promoting self-expression, community, and sustainable consumer habits. Titled Let’s Op Shop Ladies!, the project uses design to highlight the value of second-hand clothing and explores these themes through the unique experiences of four young women. The research informed the campaign by examining community, self-expression, and reflection on design decisions, culminating in meaningful collateral that supports the movement. With its focus on individuality and sustainability, Let’s Op Shop Ladies! encourages young women to confidently embrace their style while contributing to a better future.
